For organisations the Age Concern Pty Ltd live classroom allows you to provide education and training, as per the Accreditation Standards, that:
- is cost effective
- directed at a level all staff can understand
- is delivered when staff are not rushed and perhaps more receptive
- eliminates the roster hassles & the cost of back filling the roster
- doesn’t require all staff to leave the floor at busy times
- offers topics that meet the needs of the organisation or individual staff members
- provides for night and weekend staff
- includes clear training objectives, handouts, references, summary of evaluations (for your records) and Certificates of Attendance when evaluations received
- is facilitated by qualified, experienced and practical professionals
You simply request a program title, choose a date and time. Then you register the names of the staff members you wish to attend. On the selected date and time you log-on to the provided web address and using your unique password, your staff enter the Age Concern Pty Ltd live classroom. They may speak with the facilitator and their colleagues, see the slides, the writing on the whiteboard and at the end of the session complete and submit the evaluation form.
The first session is fully recorded, so every word spoken, every slide shown and all writings on the white board are saved as they occurred in real time. This archived (saved copy) is now available to those staff not on duty or were too busy to attend. This option is useful if there is only one computer available in the workplace, then staff simply listen to the session at a later, pre-arranged time.
There is little staff down time, no roster hassles and you may capture those staff members who rarely attend training.
You may choose a topic from our most frequently requested In-service topics or make a particular request. Please also call 1800 722 236 if there is a particular focus you would like us to take for your staff.
